
Salary: £40,050 - £44,730 p.a.

Applications are invited for a Lectureship in Mathematical Finance, to commence no later than 1 October 2009. With a substantial theoretical and mathematical background in Mathematical Finance, you will conduct research in the subject, to include supervising research students, attracting research funding and developing relations with the financial services industry. You will contribute to the MSc Course in Mathematics and Finance within the Department, and may also be required to contribute to other aspects of the Department's teaching programme and/or to executive education programmes.
Candidates should have a PhD in mathematics or equivalent level of professional qualifications and experience in a closely related discipline, together with a record of research in mathematical finance. Direct experience of working in financial markets is desirable although not essential.
